Gas Stove
The cabin comes equipped with a propane gas stove.
To operate the stove, locate the access panel at the bottom of the stove and open the access panel to expose the control knob. Turn the control knob counterclockwise to the desired setting.
The pilot light may already be lit, so lighting it may not be necessary. However, if the stove is not working, you can follow the Stove Pilot Light Procedure.
To spread the heat more evenly across the cabin, use the fan attached to the rear of the stove. Turn the control knob clockwise to the desired setting.
To turn the stove off, turn the control knob clockwise to a “soft” stop. If you turn it past the “soft” stop until it comes to a “hard” stop, the pilot light will go out. Be sure to turn the fan off as well.
Stove Pilot Light Procedure
To relight the pilot light, you'll want to make sure gas is turned on behind the stove (turned inline with the gas tube).
Then, open the bottom door of the stove (It is helpful to lay on the floor so you can see the pilot light when it lights).
Turn the knob so that the word 'PILOT' is aligned with the arrow or the right side (3 o'clock position).
Push in and hold the knob and keep holding in while pressing the lighter button. You will keep holding it in for ~15 seconds while the pilot light warms up.
When you let go, the pilot light should stay lit. If it doesn't stay lit, try to push in and hold again while pressing the lighter and hold in a bit longer.
Once it is lit, you can turn the knob towards the 1-5 settings to light the full stove.
